I'm trying to figure out where this game is going. Does hitting loose on the acepoint really hurt White? It does minimize hit+cover sequences but Blue doesn't have much homeboard ammo so is it worth wasting some of that for a tempo hit? (OK, it might move opp higher in the board which is a plus.)

The checker on the 16-point is a liability. The biggest compliment I can pay it is to say it's a builder, but it's a better builder on the 11-point.
