5 pips down from an even race, running is a serious consideration. All it takes is a good roll for blue or a poor one for white to equalize. And white has ugly gaps on the 5 and deuce points while blue has a decent distribution, although I don't like the extra checkers on the deuce.

But if white can hit then blue is likely to be cubed out soon, so i don't like volunteering a shot. Then again, playing in the homeboard means burying two more checkers and inducing massive wastage.

I think I'll run. I can't stomach more checkers on the ace and deuce.

Likely this decision is heavily dependent on upcoming cube action but I can't quite visualize it.
