I would agree that's it's more likely that you would get a lower PR playing against XG than human opponents.

For example for the first three moves you're likely to err less against XG as you will be used to the typical early development as XG always makes the same moves whereas a human opponent can throw you off course making some sub optimal plays that you may be unfamiliar with.

Also XG *generally* won't get in to more unusual positions caused by poor play
