Check-list of things to to think of when lost

When playing tired (which happens) or when starting to play like a brain-dead zombie (which happens more often), and finding myself in situations where I have no clue what to do, I feel the need for a check-list of things to ponder, and help come to a decision.

Something more complete than "am I ahead in the race, and what's the score".

So I'm using the mnemo-technic sentence below to try go through all the angles:

SCRAP CG BOB, 3D APP

It's crappy, only speaks to animated computer graphics programmers (well, maybe not even them), but there you have it, each letter is a word initial and they mean the following:

(Strategy)

- Score - Cube - Race - Anchor - Points made

- Chance of Gammon

- Back men - Outfield control - Blots

(Tactics)

- Duplicate - Diversify - Doubles danger

- Alternative Plays Please

Please feel free to comment, and if I left out a key concept, let me know and I'll refine the sentence.
