leading 3a-4a: how do I adjust my takepoint for gammons won by me?

If I recube, gammons will have no value. This differs from i.e. NMS or a money game, where I can use my gammon threat in order to get an efficient recube without needing as high a probability of winning the game. So my thought is that therefore, I will gain nothing from gammons won except for if I become too good to double, making them less valuable (even apart from the "fact" that the gammon value is .45 instead of .5).

So, 1. does my thinking hold up? 2. If yes, what approach would you take to finding the gammon adjusted take point leading 2-1 to 5?
