1978 was a big year for me, i got married. Until now i had not realise how big it was. I also sorted a rule of thumb for bearing off 2 chequers.

If you can take one off do so

Never allow the chequers to touch if you can prevent it

Never stack

Always keep the distant apart to a minimum

No magic required

Follow this system to optimize when bearing in. Its gratifying to realise that some things don’t change despite the bots.
