That's correct, Danny Kleinman discovered the ideal difference between two checkers left to be the mathematical constant e (=2.71828...); the correct order is therefore 3, 2, 4, 1, 5, 0, 6.

Let's compare the two series:

Mochy's: 315246 DK's: 324150

If I'm not mistaken, both orders are fine because in practical play you might have to compare 1 vs 5 and 2 vs 4, but you never have a choice 1 vs 2 or 1 vs 4 or 2 vs 5 or 4 vs 5; this is because the difference between two moves is always an even number.
