I think it's misleading to say the USBGF's stance on legal/illegal moves is illegal moves. I think, and I'm in no way speaking for or having asked anyone of the USBGF, that their stance is basically "We don't make the rules. The ABT rules are the most common in place. Those are fine." Seems more accurate to me.
