Notes on Match Recording

Cool thing would be to update as much info in the match information record within the .xg file - AND have Xavier release the file format documentation for at least those fields...

Then you can always process the files automatically, import them into databases, etc.

Putting everything in the filename is a somewhat poor solution, and not sortable on anything else than the first field.

If the match is from some kind of federation, you could consider putting in players membership numbers also.
