Why not run all the way

When there are two or more blots in your opponent's inner board look at plays you wouldn't usually consider.

This doesn't mean you always make the play but your eyes should be alert whenever the situation arises, esp. if you also have a strong board yourself so that the opponent can't play anything loosey goosey.

You are down in the race so what is the opponent really going to hit you with if you leave a blot? We shouldn't call it a blot if he isn't ever hitting it! Here he will hit it with 22 and that's it. No sweat. The rest of the time it affords us some needed flexibility to play our sixes and also possibly make another point in our outfield to help both contain our opponent since he is up in the race and bring our position home.
