I guess there's no good reason for not playing R at GS if that's what tops the rollouts of the current bots.

In general I don't like R. I don't think it accomplishes quite as much as S. When hit it feels like I just wasted my roll without developing anything. When not hit I am committed to cleaning up the blot and forced into a what may well turn into a stiffish one-sided racing plan.

I just think S offers a much more interesting variety of potential game plans. So I only play R seldomly.
