In the first three positions, you lose when you don't get off, no matter whether white has cube access. In the last two, when you miss and white has no cube access, you will sometimes still win. When white has cube access, you will be doubled and have to drop, winning only as often as in the first three positions.

If the cube were centered, all these positions would be doubles (since you will never get a more efficient double than now).
