For me, the decision is between hitting 1 or 2. "When in doubt, make the 5 point." But there doesn't seem to enough doubt here.

While I don't like the blot on the ace and giving up the 8, XG dings me for not doubling hitting enough, so I'd play it here. If the double hit is correct, I hope to better understand why.
