Excellent Variation to play for Money and maybe for Match Play

From time to time I play an ex-student of mine (from Turkey) who likes to play without the cube. We play 2 point matches, no cube.

It's actually an excellent game.

By the way, wouldn't it be a much more interesting match if we instituted the Crawford Rule whenever the score is 2away/2away? I think that would be far more interesting than what we do now, where the cube is turned virtually every time (by decent players) anyway.
