Surely you mean 62S-41B-52H-61H-51R-65T-62S-42. :)

Uh, ... yes!

That’s 41T-62S-42 for dullards like me.

Thanks to your remarkable sequence, we now know that opening 41T = 62S-41B-52H-61H-51R-65T. Similarly, your other sequence shows us that the opening position where your opponent begins with split back checkers can be reached by the well-played sequence 62S-41B-52H-61H-51R-61S.

This means that the “reference” positions in my database that open with 41T can all be promoted to bona fide positions that occur in well-played games.

41T-33
41T-41$-64R-41
41T-41$-64R-51
41T-51$-64R-41
41T-51$-64R-44
41T-51$-64R-51
41T-62S-42

Diagrams A21, A25 and A113 in Backgammon Openings can all now be properly captioned, as well.  ;-)

41T-63R-31
41T-62R-31
41T-21U-61P-41R-31
