Thanks, Phil, and yes, my original question still puzzles me. I'm only a beginner, so this won't be a matter of actual practical concern to me for some time, but I am curious. I don't suppose a retailer misrepresenting dice as "precision" when they actually are not would last long, so as a shopper I can probably buy dice advertised as precision dice without losing too much sleep as to the validity of the claim, but at some point it does become an issue. I don't have to know much to realize that dice may be cut perfectly and rounded and scored or pipped perfectly, yet still contain a hidden weight or magnet. As I said, I'm a beginner (I've played casually for years but I'm just beginning to actually study), so there are more critical things for me to focus on right now. Still... Thanks again, guys.
