I don't know what "XGR+ for first pass" means exactly, but there is still a potential issue of the sort that Bob describes. I'm sure that whatever "XGR+ for first pass" means, it doesn't mean that XG runs every legal move through XGR+. There is therefore a chance that some play that XG deemed unworthy of running through XGR+ would actually come out on top if it were forced through. Thus I expect that "XGR+ for first pass" tends to produce lower PR numbers than the procedure "force every legal play through XGR+".
