Anchor vs. straggler. We'd like to contain the straggler to prevent the opponent from converting into a holding game. There's the safe 11/6, the bold 11/7 8/7, and the tactical 8/4*/3. I think 11/7 8/7 gives too many shots for too little gain. Though the dilly builder looks ugly, I'm inclined to play 8/4*/3. I'm not expecting to successfully execute a blitz but I think that gaining a tempo and gaining some pips will help our cause.
