Go ahead and ask your questions, Chuck, as I will leave the reviews to others.

As usual, looking forward to [Jason's] always candid opinion.

Jason Lee is a brilliant individual who had so many good ideas during the tournament that I cannot at this time conceive of running a tournament without him. If he feels that the backgammon community needs a "dressing down" then I suggest that the backgammon community had damned well better listen.

I'm not worried that Jason feels at this time that he may never want to work another tournament again. I've learned first-hand during the last two years how physically, mentally and emotionally exhausting it is to run a tournament. For this reason, during the tournament I told Jason that I would not even ask for at least a month whether he was interested in working future events, nor would I make any decisions myself during this time. (To those who are under the impression that a fall 2015 or fall 2016 DC tournament is "in the works", please re-read that last sentence carefully).

And I'm not worried if Jason feels the same way a month, or two months, or two years from now, as I wouldn't blame him one bit, and my utmost respect for him would not be diminished in the slightest.

Directing ABT backgammon tournaments is so much fun that I would not wish to begrudge others the experience. I do not hold a monopoly position on the Washington, DC area.
