If Blue rolls an ace, White loses the market, so White clearly had a market losing sequence last roll. If it turns out White needed doubles last roll in order to have a take now, then Blue had a market losing sequence the roll before. Since the game couldn't have started with doubles, it seems at some point before, one player must have risked losing their market without needing doubles of their own to have a take on their opponents next roll.
