I will exclude what you don’t control (luck) and how good or not you are b/c once tournament started to late to learn theories, reference cube positions etc… In no particular order 1. Self confidence. 2. He’s he better than you or not (play race and holding games or seeking for complicated position). 3. Ability to stay focused at every score. Which include nr. 4 Stamina and good preparation.. 5. Never surrender (W.Churchill).
