I must admit that I didn't give 24/21 as much thought as I should have. It is certainly an alternative to 24/23 13/11 - the only alternative IMHO.

After some thought, I am unsure. I still would play 24/23 13/11, but I can see the merits of 24/21. The latter is best if opp have opened with 51S, and I am wondering if our barpoint and opp's 5-point make a difference here. One difference I can see is that 54 does not hit in our current position. I am unsure if that is enough.

Bottom line: 24/23 13/11 for me, but no problem if the majority votes for 24/21.
