This cube error cost us the match in Novi

We were on the side being doubled (White), losing 1-0 in a match to 7, and we made the wrong decision. What would you have done? Even more important to me, how would you have gone about making this decision to lead to your conclusion?

By the way, immediately after the match we put it in and one of the top players in the world agreed with our decision, so I don't feel too bad about getting it wrong by a lot. The problem is, I'm still not sure I would get this one right at every score.
