Rule changes

I have three rule changes to propose. One shouldn't be too controversial, and the other two more so.

First: When you can play either number, but not both, I propose that we allow the player to choose either number instead of forcing the larger number to be played. I think we have progressed enough as players to free up this restriction.

Second: Borrow an idea from chess and alternate the opening roll. This would somewhat even out the luck, speed up the game, and provide strong players with another strategy to use against weaker players.

Third: In the this alternating opening move scenario, allow opening doubles, but only playing the number twice instead of four times. So with an opening 66, you would have to decide which bar point to make. Which one would you make?
