School of Fish progress #2

Robert purchased a lesson from Mind Games (the excellent "Reference Positions" by Perry Gartner).

The lesson was structured as a quiz and we had a discussion around each position.

This helped us get a better feel for equity percentages - collectively we were surprised by a couple of the answers, even though most were visibly familiar positions / variations. Some really useful insights there.

The bracket has been set up on challonge.com and registration is pretty much completed for the round robin - just finalizing the last entrants. We are also hoping to use GridGammon as well as FIBS for maximum flexibility so just waiting for the remaining accounts to be granted there.

We had 6 attendees on the conference this Saturday. We can take up to 10, so if your PR is around the 7-9 range and you would like to engage in friendly group discussion / training please do get in touch with Robert or myself.
