Astute observation.

To verify your concept, I tried (a) additionally adjusting a second pip from White's 7pt to her 8pt, which greatly escalated Blue's already too-good-to-double, and (b) from the original position nudging Blue back a pip from 4pt to 5pt, which XG reports is a much more massive beaver.
