I didn't say what I meant to say. I meant that the owner of the cube might win fewer gammons than a cubeless estimate might suggest because if the cube action goes D/P then the cubeless gammons never materialize.

So the effect of the cube has a subtle impact on the wins and gammons and I don't think that there is any simple rule that if the opponent owns the cube then your cubeless net-gammon-to-win ratio has to exceed 2.
