Try uninstalling GG and then reinstalling GG. Also, if you have a second computer, try installing GG on it to see if you have the same problem.

I have been playing on GamesGrid/GridGammon since late 1997 and I have never had this problem. I have played on Safe Harbor and I see two advantages of GG over Safe Harbor: (1) Better grapics on GG and (2) Stronger competition on GG. The only time I play on Safe Harbor is when the online tournament rules require it.
