Yes I rely on the XG PR for this so that part is ok. I do seem to remember some stuff from my statistics class about removing the highest and the lowest value but I haven't done that for these numbers.

I have some first hand experience with cheaters but he was so good at it that I didn't realise I had been cheated until hours after the match was completed (some guy from Turkey during Nordic open) so I guess after you allow a match to continue after a dispute you have accepted the cheating play.

Online cheating would be even easier so I guess that is a possibility. Rather difficult to detect so the only way to suspect foul play would be to compare online PR with live recorded PR and if they are consistently higher in live recorded matches then there is something suspicious going on.
