I find the opening sentence of your post quite bizarre. How on earth can you describe players stating that they personally feel they are "not worthy to vote" as bashing the Giants list? In my own case it was a statement of honesty; hence I personally have never voted in it. It doesn't follow that they feel all others aren't worthy to vote.

As for a statement from a player that they feel they themselves are not worthy to be on the list, that seems to me like displaying great humility.
