1) 12 return shots (almost didn't see 44).

2) Only 66 is a bad roll for them.

3) If the blot survives we'll need to cover or lift to safe up.

4) We are outboarded 3::1.

5) The 8-point could use a spare.

6) The 15-point has some latent value and we might be able to keep it and give up the 18-point.

I don't know that any of those by itself is enough but putting them all together seems pretty convincing.
