It will depend on the Gammon Value at the match score in question. Its likely that many scores will be making the anchor (when leading), and making the 5pt when behind. At an even match score, it will depend on how many away you are. I would expect that at:

DMP - 5pt GS - anchor GG - 5pt Normal - variable

So, at -4,-4 its probably the 5pt, but -3-,-3 probably the anchor.

Either way, its pretty small to make the anchor over the 5pt, so play to your own strengths.
