OT - Tennis Tournament Format Question

Unless the defeated team is a direct competitor for placement it is no better to win a set 6-3 than it is 6-0. Is that a good thing?

I suggest making a 7 pointed star shaped court and everyone plays everyone simultaneously. A few rules would need to be worked out.
