OT - Tennis Tournament Format Question

In Response To: OT - Tennis Tournament Format Question (Bob Koca)

I was imagining that each "set" would consist of a fixed number of games, maybe 8 games or 12 games (a multiple of 4 so that each player serves the same number of games).

If it is a choice between 5 rounds of 12-game sets or 7 rounds of 8-game sets, I prefer the latter since then everyone gets a bye.
