I am against separate sex events. They are patronising, saying you are not good enough to compete against the full field.

As for the transgender issue, on March 4th & 5th, I was playing in the Auckland Backgammon champs (New Zealand). One of the players was transgender, now being a woman. She was just another one of the players. There were no "bathroom issues" whatever that means.

I welcome all players, whatever their gender, to play in the same event.
