Hi Marv,

There is "hidden" luck in backgammon.

Yes, of course you are right. When I said you can measure [all] the luck in backgammon, this is not really accurate. But luck from the dice does make up most of the luck in backgammon, far outweighing luck from other factors. For that reason it is helpful and satisfying to measure this part of luck.
