Weak v. Strong revisited

As the weaker player this morning against Gnu, I purposely waited to redouble until now. I missed, Gnu tossed 66, I missed w/ 53 and got backgammoned for the match on 4.
Gnu was critical of my redouble at first and as so often happens punished me mercilessly for having done so. Not many humans woulda taken this redouble.
Earlier I had 28 shots at two blots and waited, knowing my expert opponent would take instantly. An example of choosing whom you double, because most humans would have been tested by a redouble by me OTB.
What is the proper cube action?
The score (after 1 game) is: gnubg 0, Ray 1 (match to 11 points)
Move number 51: Ray on roll, cube decision?
gnubg 37
Ray 122 Position ID: PQEAIHbbgEBEAA Match ID: UQlgAQAACAAA
• Ray doubles
Alert: double decision marked very bad
