This Falafelgammon is interesting.

Allow me to propose some rule improvements:

(1) A bet on an any of the first six moves of the game is for twice (rather than half) the amount. Statistically, these positions arise more often and are therefore more (not less) important to know.
(2) The starting position of each game is the opening position of Nackgammon, which requires more skill to play. In all other respects, the rules of backgammon are followed.
(3) After each move, both players must write down the Nactation character that best describes it, and bet on it. In the case of disagreement, most articulate explanation wins.
(4) Talking while the opponent is trying to think results in a $1000 penalty. Second and subsequent offenses are more expensive: 1000 of a randomly selected currency.
(5) Refusal of a bet demotes the player one notch on the Giants list.

I’m sure Falafel and others will see the logic in these minor adjustments.
