Neil replies...personally I don't think there's much merit here in a 7 pt match, noting that it isn't all that much more gammonish to slot into the double shot. However, in a 4 pt match, maybe things change somewhat noting you'd hate to have those blots slapped around and then get one pointed on when it enters and then get a cube in a 4 pt match from a weakish player.

Perhaps someone who's rolled out a GNU unequal skill MET could shed some light here.
