In Response To: Money-play endgame decision (Timothy Chow)

Those who get a thrill out of being "right" may be disappointed by the rollout, which says that the two plays are TCTC. As compensation I am posting four rollouts, with the dice being 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, and 5-1 respectively. GNU clearly prefers to lift with 2-1 and to run with 5-1. With 3-1 and 4-1 the decisions are TCTC for all practical purposes. Note also that, if you believe the absolute equity numbers, GNU considers 3-1 to be the worst roll of the lot.
