I had the same immediate thought, that Blue missed a double before the roll. If Blue had doubled, I'd have played 24/18*/13. Since you say you erred on the checker play, I suppose the best play not having doubled is 13/8 10/4, for the reason Casper cites.

No accolades for me, though, for doubling, since I'd have doubled for money, too. Look forward to your explanation of why (if my bot is right here) (a) the best play with a centered cube at the score is 13/8 10/4 (b) why it's a double at the score but not for money and (c) why the best money play with a centered cube is still 24/18*/13.
