Curious question: What is the difference between backgammon players?

Thanks for asking the question and the other posters for some very good / interesting suggestions.

What I like to do is playing positions I get wrong out a significant number of times against the compu, to get a feel for what is going on and how play develops. I also like to change positions around a little to test assumptions about factors that are important for the play (I believe Timothy made that suggestion a number of times here).
