if I need a gammon in order to win the match, then Jason's resignation can only end the match if he intends to resign a gammon.

What if the cube is on 2 post-Crawford and

A says "I resign, good match."

B says "You're conceding a gammon"?

A, thinking the score is -1-2, says "Yes, sure, whatever floats your boat, dude."

B says "Thank you for the match."

A says "Wait a minute, is the score -1-3?"

Is A's gammon resignation final? Is A and B's agreement on the gammon final? Is the agreement on the gammon even necessary?
