XG cube analysis -- Methodology question

Anyone knows how XG determines cube efficiency?

Is it based roughly on position type and interpolated for races, or have XG found a better way to determine this value for a given position type?

I'd think that much more precision could be obtained in bot play by enhancing this particular skill, rather than rolling out new match equity tables with differences on the 3rd decimal!?

Also, if you do non-truncated rollouts, can the cube efficiency then be calculated for a specific position (and can that value be used in the take analysis for said position)?
