Baffle Box Update

If V3 produces a truly random roll, would it be fair to say there is no point in pre-randomizing dice with a cup?

There is no need assuming both dice go through the baffle box. A while back here there were some posts here (by Joe Russell and maybe also Bob Glass) about cheaters in SoCal who were slick at putting one die through the box and the other not. That is why (I believe) than in Patrick's weekly games, both a cup and baffle box are required.

Actually another apparent advantage I've found is that it's less likely that a die accidentally misses the baffle box (which requires a reroll, so a form of 'cocked dice') if I use a cup. But I don't always shake the cup before I aim it at the top of the baffle box.

Some people (apparently for multiple reasons) like to shake a cup. Lets off frustration, gets the brain into a Zen state, even (for some) allows them to use their mental energy to affect the roll outcome, ala, Alpha Backgammon and Silva Mind Control.... With a baffle box and cup used together, all of those desires can be accommodated.
