My first inclination is to spread ’em all out, putting checkers on three different points in the opponent’s board. Since he has only nine checkers in the zone, the risk seems more than compensated by the chance to make an advanced anchor or hit a fly shot.

The biggest disadvantage that I see is that I would like to develop the midpoint next turn, perhaps by bringing two checkers down, but may be distracted by the need to consolidate the three blots in the back court.
