Very good example. Another example is opening 21 at GS and GS+. The GS play is to make the same play as GG, DMP and ULG (money), ie slotting. The GS+ play however is to split, and this play appears to be correct at many other 2 away and 3 away scores. Whereas with 62, as you point out, the key is the match trailer steering towards and early efficient gammonish cube, here the match leader is perhaps trying to steer his opponent away from such an early cube consequent to the blot being hit.
The potent combination of high cube leverage combined with relatively high gammon price for the match trailer is the key factor which tends to polarise the GG+ and GS+ plays to opposite extremes of the aggression spectrum in my view.
