Thanks, Tim, for taking the effort to write such a thoughtful post. Your honesty is refreshing, inspiring even.

In my own relationship with BGOnline, I also have mixed feelings. Sometimes, I have to scroll through so many lines of post to find one (or none) that interests me that I just don't bother checking the site for a few days -- or a few years. I doubt there's any easy answer to that one (nor am I asking for one). People have diverse interests and different boundaries and habits for interacting socially.

I always appreciated your posts whether you agreed with me or not. Your points were intelligently presented and well articulated. Thank you for the time you did contribute to BGOnline (which was a better site with you on it) and good luck in your backgammon.
