I didn't see the loose hit when I voted.

I think it's sound, but I'm not sure it's best. It seizes the initiative with a tempo hit, unstacks the bloated midpoint, and slots a good point. And it doesn't place a blot in front of their even-more-bloated midpoint which they'd love to unload. On balance, I think it's a bit better than running, but I'm not convinced. I'm fairly sure it's better than making the deuce point or splitting.

If we were doing vote-switching I'd simply switch and give 13/3* a majority.
