I remember it well, even (or especially) the PRs. As Phil said, without a clock people start discussing the lamest and dumbest non options. It's painful for everyone involved. They want to make sure they've seen every play, they set up every play, they discussed every play no matter how ridiculous it is ad nauseum with their partner. Some players also think that since there's no time limit this is when they should play host and announcer to any spectators that are watching.
